Madaa Creative Center - Silwan organized a ceremony to mark the anniversary of the birth of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), in the presence of more than a hundred children and their parents. The ceremony included many religious and artistic activities at the Madaa Club in Wadi Hilweh neighborhood of Silwan.
The deputy director of Madaa, Sahar Abbasi, said: “We organized the celebration for several reasons, one of which is to emphasize the commemoration of religious events in the hearts of children; another objective is to motivate children through the presentations and performances that they participated in before their parents, which were learned from the various courses offered by the Center. The ceremony included a performance by the Scouts of Madaa in Wadi Hilweh Street in Silwan, as well as a Dabkeh dance presented by the children of Madaa Center’s three branches, in addition to reading verses from the Quran presented by children of the “recitation” course.”
Abbasi added: “The ceremony included religious songs delivered by the children with the participation of the audience, and a theatrical dialog in which children presented religious information. At the end of the ceremony, the staff distributed symbolic gifts and sweets to all the participating children.”
