Madaa Creative Center - Silwan concluded a training program for women in the field of producing natural soap and creams as part of the project of “more professional job opportunities”. The training included both a theoretical and practical part. Trainer Amaal Al Sabbah said: “In the theoretical section I explained to the women the types of skin, the needs of each type, general information about the herbs used in soap and natural cream manufacture, and detailed explanation of glycerin soap and the materials required to prepare it.
Amaal Added: “In the practical section, the women made natural soap free of chemicals using parsley and watercress and poured it in silicone molds to give it different shapes; they also made natural creams using Shea butter, coconut oil, and rose water specified for beauty.”
It is noted that this training was a continuation for the candle training.
