Madaa Creative Center - Silwan organized a lecture for women on the subject of electronic harassment and its crimes, where the lecture was presented by Professor at Al-Quds Open University Alaa Kharoub and student Haneen Sarhan at Madaa Club in Silwan.
About 15 women attended the lecture. It included the advantages of the Internet and smart phones, which include enhancing the communication of parents with their children, and Kharoub explained positive ways to use the Internet and smart phones.
He also presented the disadvantages of the Internet of deception, harassment and forgery. During the lecture, they addressed ways to prevent and combat those disadvantages. The lecture included educational games on ways to prevent deception and cybercrime. Women also shared their experiences and the experiences of their families who were victims of online fraud.
The workshop was concluded by Haneen Sarhan with several tips for mothers on the methods of dealing with children in different age groups, and methods of monitoring at all ages.
