Madaa Creative Center Ein Al Loza branch in Silwan organized an awareness workshop for children on the subject of “earthquakes”, in which about 30 children participated.
The workshop included a screening of an animated film for children that shows what earthquakes are, and the causes of their occurrence, and tips and advice on what to do to survive in case an earth quake occurs.
The staff explained to the children how earthquakes happen, and the risks associated with them, and methods of safety from them, whether they occur while at home or outside. The goal of the workshop was to raise children's awareness of safety measures before, during and after the earthquake.
