As part of the Child Protection Program, Madaa Creative Center- Ein Al Loza branch- organized in cooperation with the Palestinian Council Center a variety of activities for children on the subject of “Reducing Violence”.
Where children were divided into closed groups, each group presented a play in which they described the negative effects of violence. Children were introduced to the concept of violence and its negative effects by drawing a tree containing all the information discussed with the children.
In a related context, the Center organized a workshop for mothers on the subject of “dealing with adolescents”. The staff discussed with the mothers the challenges facing parents and adolescents through the “Spider Web” activity where the mothers formed a network in which each mother talked about her problems with her teenage children, and discussed the challenges they face, in return the staff listed solutions that will help the mothers deal with adolescents.
