The social and psychological departments of Madaa Creative Center established a workshop with the title “Positive Parental Education” in corporation with the Palestinian Counseling. Thirty two women participated in the workshop which was held in both branches of Madaa Center, (Wadi Hilweh and Ein lozeh).
The women have learned in the workshop how to deal with their children in a non-violent environment, and how to understand their needs, they also learned positive skills to deal with their children from one day old until they reach the age of 18. The workshop meetings were held 9 times a week.
In addition, the department organizes individual sessions for women and children throughout the year in order to address their problems and improve their mental and social status.
The center also organized a four hour releasing session for women, its primary objective was to allow women to feel comfort and safety, as well as to study their needs.
