The psychological and social departments of Madaa Creative Center organized an event named “My Wish”, about 20 boys and girls attended this event, with their ages varying between 8 and 14.

Zainab Siam, a psychologist in Madaa Center said: “papers shaped like rain drops were distributed to children; each child wrote down his/her wish on the drop shaped paper, then they hung it on the wish cloud”.

Siam added, when a child’s wish is hung in front of him/her, he/she see it every day when they come to Madaa Center, and that ultimately motivates them to seek its achievement.

Another activity included in the event “My Wish” was the passing of awareness phrases aimed to educate children about the importance of having a wish, the importance of seeking to make it come true, and the importance of keeping it in mind so that the child can have a goal for the future.

It is worth mentioning that children were given complete freedom to choose their own wishes, by providing each child enough time to think about his/her wish.
