“Dandara” band of Madaa Creative Center left the country Wednesday night to provide artistic exhibitions in France.
Madda Creative Center explained that members of the band left the Palestinian territories to preform “hip-hop” in France. The members of the band are going to meet with artistic groups in France to inform them of the situation in Jerusalem in general and Silwan in particular, especially the suffering of children from the assaults and the arrests and denial of their basic rights, as well as the shortage of classrooms and the lack of playgrounds and parks from their neighborhoods.
The young participants are: Ali Maswadeh, Hidayeh Al-Bana, Mahmoud Al-Qawasmi, Rawan Al-Taweel, Tayma’ Fateeha, and Naseem Abu Shameh accompanied by the center’s staff Majd Gaith and Tala Sarhan.
