Promote non-violence by developing a research and learning center and providing training to youth, as part of the non-violence learning center program for the West Bank and East Jerusalem.

Empower the community and build community networks by providing and subsidizing recreational, educational and social activities and courses.

Promote dialogue and exchange of ideas by organizing events and activities which inform and educate.

Build leadership skills by providing leadership courses to youth.

Encourage young people to connect to and be proud of their Palestinian cultural heritage, while respecting the heritage of others.

Principles

Madaa has no political affiliation or aspiration.

We exist to serve and empower the Arab community of Silwan as a whole, accepting and encouraging the diversity in opinions, beliefs and standpoints.

Madaa is not driven or guided by forces outside the village. We exist in and for our community in order to fulfill the needs of the inhabitants of Silwan.

Madaa does not operate alone, and is open to new ideas and projects that serve the inhabitants of Silwan and empower the community.

Madaa encourages the sharing of knowledge and community experience with other communities outside the village.
