Madaa Dabkeh Folklore Group participated in the opening of “Bab Al-Amoud” exhibition in Nablus, where they presented a Dabkeh show dancing to Palestinian folk songs.

Haneen Abbasi of the media department at Madaa said: “After the show, members of Madaa Dabkeh group visited the old town of Nablus. We visited Al Bader Factory for soap where the factory manager explained how to make soap and talked about the materials used in manufacturing it, he also talked about buying soap from the factory.”

Abbasi added: “During the tour we visited Ben Brik mill that helps carry on the heritage of our ancestors. The most popular features that distinguish this place are a popular room adorned with traditional artifacts made of Palestinian craftsmanship, and the Clock Tower, which is an Ottoman-era archaeological tower in Nablus.”

It is worth noting that Madaa Dabkeh Folklore Group participated in many performances inside and outside of Palestine, including the band's performances in France and Spain.
