Madaa Creative Center Ein Al Loza branch - Silwan organized an awareness assembly for children under the title: “The dangers we face in the winter … Let's beware of them” on the subject of winter and specifically the dangers we face in it.
The meeting included a display of a cartoon film that explains to children the dangers of winter in a simplified and fun way. The film addressed the causes and accidents related to various heating devices, the misuse of these appliances or the lack of familiarity with their safety conditions, and ways to prevent these accidents such as not to connect them with bad wires, to avoid placing links under the carpet and furniture of the house, and to avoid placing them in hallways.
There was a discussion between the staff and the children who asked questions and suggested ways of prevention. They also gave examples of fires that occurred at their relatives and neighbors homes and of incidents they heard of that were caused by the improper use of heaters.
